PETRICOR es un proyecto musical de black metal atmosférico formado en el año 2017 por El Ermitaño. PETRICOR es el nombre que recibe el olor que produce la primera lluvia al caer en los suelos secos, el que se conoce popularmente como "tierra mojada" o simplemente "olor a lluvia". Este nombre define el concepto y sonido de la banda, aludiendo al lado oscuro de la naturaleza, con un sonido instrumental y atmosférico, evocando un viejo, simple y crudo sonido.

Esta pista fue grabada y construida en un momento de inspiración, solo con los instrumentos y sonidos que tenía a mano en ese momento, esta pista NO está masterizada o producida con equipos sofisticados, tampoco ha pasado por mi mente crítica antes de su publicación. Espero que quienes se encuentren con esta pista puedan conectarse con la emoción del momento que intente capturar. Actualmente estoy trabajando en un nuevo disco, y estas ideas no encajan en el concepto final, es por eso que las dejó plasmadas aquí como testimonio de un proceso puro y orgánico de creación.

PETRICOR is an atmospheric black metal musical project formed in 2017 by El Ermitaño. PETRICOR is the name given to the smell produced by the first rain when falling on dry soils, which is popularly known as "wet land" or simply "rain smell". This name defines the concept and sound of the band, alluding to the dark side of nature, with an instrumental and atmospheric sound, evoking a crude and simple but very authentic old sound.

This track was recorded and constructed in a moment of inspiration, with only the instruments and sounds I had at hand at the time, this track is NOT mastered or produced with sophisticated equipment, nor has it passed through my critical mind prior to its release. I hope that those who come across this track will be able to connect with the emotion of the moment I tried to capture. I am currently working on a new album, and these ideas do not match the final concept, that's why I leave them here as a testimony of a pure and organic process of creation.
