PETRICOR es un proyecto musical de black metal atmosférico formado en el año 2017 por El Ermitaño. PETRICOR es el nombre que recibe el olor que produce la primera lluvia al caer en los suelos secos, el que se conoce popularmente como "tierra mojada" o simplemente "olor a lluvia". Este nombre define el concepto y sonido de la banda, aludiendo al lado oscuro de la naturaleza, con un sonido instrumental y atmosférico, evocando un viejo, simple y crudo sonido.
PETRICOR is an atmospheric black metal musical project formed in 2017 by El Ermitaño. PETRICOR is the name given to the smell produced by the first rain when falling on dry soils, which is popularly known as "wet land" or simply "rain smell". This name defines the concept and sound of the band, alluding to the dark side of nature, with an instrumental and atmospheric sound, evoking a crude and simple but very authentic old sound.
